Baked Garlic Fries

I have been crushing on these for a while now, and decided it was time to share them with the world. Tossing fries in fresh garlic is SO GOOD!  Baked Garlic fries are a healthy alternative to deep-fried, so flavourful, and versatile – mix in any herb or spice you want! Below is my current favourite combo. 

Ingredients: (no real measurements, just intuition)

2-4 red or yellow skinned potatoes, scrubbed and sliced into fry shapes (you know, right?)

drizzle of grapeseed oil

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

dried oregano (about 1 teaspoon)

chili flakes

sea salt

Method:

Preheat oven to 425F.  Spread out fries evenly and drizzle with oil. Maybe use your hands to make sure they are coated all over.  Place in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping them at the halfway point. Keep an eye on them, as every oven is different. You want them golden and crispy.

When they’re done, pour them into a large bowl and toss with fresh garlic, herbs and spices and enjoy hot!
