How to Make Your Smoothie Super Powered (Don’t Judge a Smoothie by its Color!)

Doesn’t this smoothie look disgusting??

Although this ugly vegan concoction looks like pond sludge, it’s actually the most delicious smoothie I’ve had in a long time… seriously!

With 20 grams of plant based protein, fibre that’s guaranteed to get you movin’, and loads of electrolytes and iron, this ugly little mess goes to prove you can’t judge a smoothie by its colour. 

Super Tropical Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 2 smoothies

1 banana

1 cup of frozen tropical fruit blend

1 scoop of Chai Vega One

1 scoop of Chocolate Vega Protein

1 cup of So Delicious coconut milk (I used original flavour)

1 cup of spinach (at least!)

About half a cup of water, depending on desired consistency

Method:

Blend all ingredients well, add water as you see fit, and share with your best pal after yoga or a particularly rigorous pole dancing lesson.

Adding spinach, kale or any variety of greens to a smoothie is a great way to make it look nasty. This will spark heated discussions with onlookers, AND up your greens intake without even tasting them. Score.
