$30 per couple, sign up at customer service

Learn how to make sushi, a delicious salad with an orange peanut dressing, and ice cream. Guests will get 2 rolls, a mat for making sushi, and a jar of ice cream to take home.

Team Heartbreak Boutique (part of H.E. Fridays)

Fortune Sound Club (147) East Pender

 Local media collective Team Heartbreak is setting up shop for the night at Fortune Sound Club. Featuring a collaboration with Welcome To East Van, the boutique will feature valentines, photo walls, custom collab pieces, and above all- a vegan, gluten-free bake sale! Pet Lovers Show

Tradex (Abbotsford)

 Vancouver Pet Lover Show celebrates animal lovers from the Vancouver area and the lower mainland. Now doubled in size to 120,000 sq.ft. of exhibits, features and fun!  Informative seminars and exhibits by top professionals, rabbit and dog agility shows, raptor shows, TICA affiliated cat show, dog fashion show, horse clinics, and K9 detection demonstrations are just a few of the attractions. Partial proceeds from the show go to the Paws for Hope Animal Foundation.

 4th Annual Hot Chocolate Festival Vancouver

For a full month, you can sip, slurp & repeat as you taste your way through over 60 crazy hot chocolate or hot chocolate inspired flavours. Organised by City Food Magazine, the festival started January 18 & runs until February 14. Over 20 cafes are participating in this year’s festival, and many of them have non-dairy options. A downloadable walking map is available on the website. This event is a fundraiser for the Downtown Eastside Womens’ Training Program.

 Join us for a night of great music & great prizes for a great cause. DJ’s ANTONIA JANE, CHERCHEZ LA FEMME, DJ SHE, NANCY DRU & JENNA RAE JACOBSEN will be playing music all night while you get a chance to bid on some amazing items in our silent auction generously donated by local businesses, featuring some of our vegan-friendly faves: Herschel Supply, The Acorn, Culver City Salads, and of course, yours truly.

 Hug-A-Bull Fundraiser at Gastown Tattoo

Gastown Tattoo will be co-hosting a fund raiser with Hugabull Advocacy and Rescue Society on February 22nd. For a minimum donation of $160, you can chose from 7 amazing Pit Bull tattoos! All proceeds to go to Hugabull. Feb 22 from 11am to 7pm. Designs by Mitch Kirilo. (**First come, first serve!**)

In BC, National Cupcake Day benefits the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA). The BC SPCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.
