1. Tell us about yourself. What makes you a catch? – I am a 36 year old Seattle Euro-mutt male who has been plant-based/vegan for almost 6 years. Along with being plant-based, I am also 100% clean and sober, showing the utmost dedication to my health. I run marathons, and train on the road or in the gym 6 days a week. I’m often described as intense, intelligent and ridiculous due to my sense of humor and frame of references, and can carry a conversation with just about anyone. Currently I am studying for my ACE personal training certification as I realized I would be best suited in an industry helping people understand the benefits of a healthy active lifestyle. Also I’m extremely passionate about it. What makes me a catch is how supportive I am of others goals and dreams, while also not candy coating anything. I tell it like it is, so you always know what you’re getting with me. No ‘dating games’ or anything like that. And due to my compassionate nature I always try and meet people half way to be able to see their side of things. Aside from being just a handsome chap, I’m one of the most inspiring people I know (so I’ve been told).

2. You’re about to be stranded on a deserted island for the rest of your life. You may bring one item and one album with you. What do you choose? – Item: my guitar. Album: Devin Townsend’s Ocean Machine.

3. In one word, why are you vegan/vegetarian? In two words, describe your style. – One word, compassion. Two words, Edgy yet Easy Going.

4. Do you say eggplant or aubergine? LOL Eggplant. I should say Aubergine more often though.

5. What are your top three favourite vegan foods? – Pineapple, Vegan Pad Thai, Avocados.

6. If you had to choose a personal hero of yours, who would that be and why? Anyone I know who continues to progress and overcome their obstacles. They all inspire me.

7. Are you a salty or sweet person? I’m a pineapple with a dash of salt on top.

8. What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you? I’m not sure actually. It’s been a long time. I’m pretty good at poking fun at myself so it takes a lot to embarrass me. I’m sure it was something back from my party days that I can’t remember lol.

9. If you could only keep one memory for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Great question…I’m a very experience based person and I strive to have as many memorable ones as possible, so there are enough to probably fill this sheet up. I’ll go with completing my first marathon. It was such a sense of finalization and completion of a goal. Getting to do it in Canada and the environment I was in…priceless.

10. Everyone has a movie they obsessively watched as a child. What was yours? Well considering when I was a kid we had the VCR tapes we rented and cable was completely different, there wasn’t a single movie that was really tops for me like that. My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption which I think I’ve seen no less than seven billion times since it first came out.

Thanks Dru!
